88 Minutes – Jack Gramm (Al Pacino) is a professor in the Seattle college, who is also associated with FBI as a forensic psychiatrist. He helps to solve the crimes related to serial killers with a lack of evidence. It is about death sentence time for one of them who says that he was wrongfully convicted. While the signature crimes continue, FBI tries to see if they indeed put the wrong guy behind the bars. At the same time, Jack receives a phone call that says that he has exactly 88 minutes to live. He gets the calls, packages and different signs every few minutes and tries to figure out who is the caller before his time goes out. He narrows it down to just a few suspects, but it is not easy to find the one.
The movie is great and makes you watch and pay attention to every small detail start to finish. Al Pacino is great as usual, but other actors fit their roles perfectly as well. The plot it ok, I agree that there are some things that could’ve been done a little different and more convincing, however, it is great as is.
Here is the trailer that shows a few good scenes from the movie:
